Good News for Tennessee and Texas
Good News! As a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit organization in Tennessee and Texas we, the Characters of Character are so pleased to announce that we have shipped out our Superhero Activity Boxes to two location in Tennessee and one in Texas! Each Superhero Activity Box includes the following:
- Beautiful, colorful and sturdy Superhero Box
- Superhero Activity Book
- Crayons and paintbrush
- Superhero mask
- A canvas that says, YOU ARE SUPER to paint
- An easel to display the canvas
- A watercolor pallet
- Superhero Sticker
- Character Lanyard
- Handwritten letter from one of the Characters
Can you imagine the joy that each girl and each boy feels when they receive this box? These contents engage the child in positive character messages which builds up a child's esteem and a positive mindset which is part of your attitude and healing your body.
Characters of Character was able to donate 60 boxes for the first quarter of the year and we would like to double this for the second quarter and double the second quarter for the third quarter! You can become a Sponsor for these boxes or donate to these boxes. Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt were gifted a portion of these boxes and also East Tennessee Children's Hospital were also gifted these boxes. A portion was also donated to East Texas Children's Hospital in Texas. If you know of a hospital that would benefit from these Superhero Activity Boxes, please reach out to me. While we reside in Illinois, we are moving to Tennessee this summer. Our goal is to provide a space for children to come to and engage in character building activities through discussions, art, literacy and drama. These activities and lessons will build their character, share it in their family unit, their classroom, the community and friendships. We will welcome in other youth organizations, schools, clubs, families, clubs and churches to introduce these messages to help them empower their community. What a wonderful world this would be! Especially today, our children would benefit from being introduced to these characters, understand the message and model these traits.
