You who bring Good News, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid, say to the towns of Judah,

“Here is your God!”

“See the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules, with a mighty arm.”

Some times we forget who wins.

When the evil one is all about us. When we turn the TV on and listen to the news. When we watch our corrupt political situation play out on TV, when we see our rights trampled, when we see our country turn our back on God, we can get discouraged.

But God is the Sovereign Lord. He reigns.

Be encouraged, Lift up your voice and shout, do not be afraid, God is not dead!

“The Grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of God endures forever!”
