Better add another hour to your day—TikTok has expanded its video length to 10 minutes!

At that length it’s less of a TikTok and more a TedTok, am I right?

According to a spokesperson, the platform is "always thinking about new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience."

This past July, TikTok increased its maximum video length from one minute to three minutes. The jump to 10 minutes presents a significant expansion and a closer parallel to YouTube and other platforms. Until recently, TikTok was the one being copied by YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and even LinkedIn.
