Month in Review

The Month of November?Throughout the Month of November, we have been counting down to #GivingTuesdayMilitary. GTM is November 29th, and our GTM initiatives include:

Veteran Last Patrol's Operation Holiday Salute -?Looking for a meaningful activity to do this holiday season? Operation Holiday Salute is still in need of holiday cards for veterans! The holiday cards you write will be given to veterans celebrating their last holiday. Anyone can write a card. We just ask that you address them "Dear Veteran" or "Dear Hero". Then, drop your cards in the mailbox and send them to?Veteran Last Patrol. They will take care of the rest!

Veteran Pen Pal Project is officially a co-sponsor of this event, with It's a Military Child Life spreading the word to schools across the nation, to get are young people involved! Thank you to our VPPP and IMCL team leaders - Megan Stewart, MSHA , Carolyn P. , Lourdes Camille Gonzalez , and Kirtley Adams for leading this effort!

Wreaths Across America Remembrance Wreaths -?REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

On December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am, It's a Military Life (AL0133P) will be helping Alabama National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by?sponsoring remembrance wreaths,?volunteering?on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Fundraising Events

The end of the year fundraising event is LIVE for?It's a Military Life: Giving Tuesday and Beyond. All products and services have been donated by extraordinary military affiliated or first responder small businesses. All proceeds from this event support our programming for IML. This allows us to serve our veterans, service members, spouses, and families.
