And now finally our Government realised the importance of bringing up homestays in India. A new campaign by Modi Government "Rent your spare room & turn your house into homestay" by this campaign they are working in relaxing rules to encourage people to open-up their houses for creating homestays.
A similar campaign is being run by a leading market player in Homestays - Stayzilla.com for over a year now conceptualized by its CEO, Mr. Yogendra Vasupal. This campaign was promoted by an amazing stop motion video which was written and Directed by: Thiagarajan Kumararaja and voice by Voice: Gautam Vasudev Menon
Stayzilla.com has been conducting awareness events across the country inviting the house owners and explaining the benefits of hosting and making people understand the policies of Government. Stayzilla.com also claims to have conducted events across 100+ location in last one year. It is the only biggest curator of homestays in India who has presence in even smallest of the place.
