Good Neighbour - Ensure Covid 19 makes us a better society

Covid 19 is having a massive impact on us all but some more than others. Some members of our society are already at more risk than others due to their current ill-health, age, or because of the circumstances they currently find themselves in.
Most of us can look after ourselves or have family or friends who can but many people have no one, especially the elderly and homeless, who are sometimes isolated from the world.
There are many charities out there who do amazing work to help these people but wouldn't it be great if something good came from this horrendous situation?
Therefore, I want everyone to think #Neighbourgood. What I would love this to be is a movement of people who think about their neighbours, especially those who may be alone and isolated. A simple 3 point check list will help ensure that no one is left without support.
1) Check that they are okay, 2) Check if they need any essential supplies and 3) Check if they need any medical help
If we can all consider vulnerable people during this period and do the 3 point check with just one of them we could not only potential save a life but we could also start to build a better society.
So I would urge everyone to
- Think if there is anyone that they could check on and potentially help (an elderly neighbour, a homeless person etc)
- Make the first step and make contact
- Share this post with at least 10 people they know on social media
Let's make something good come from this situation. Think #neighbourgood
