A Good man just passed...

I received a call from a new client who advised that Tim Murakami, Esq. had recently passed away and that he needed my help with new DRE Projects. I was shocked by his comments.

I had known Tim since I was the VA attorney who approved his work for real estate developers in Southern California. Tim was always a courteous gentleman whenever he called whether I was the VA attorney for Southern California he worked with or when I started work a a private real estate attorney. He would ask if the VA would approve a particular factual situation. Though I was no longer with the VA, Tim was comfortable reaching out for my advice.

He once assured me if he referred a client to my attention to handle a VA Project approval, Diana would kill him. Tim was very loyal and wanted to stay alive.

I received a call from a new client last year who received a letter sent out to developers who just recorded a Final Map asking about my services.

I asked if he had an attorney and he said he worked with "Tim Murakami". I said "Stay with Tim. He is a good attorney." I never heard back from the client.
