GOOD LUCK TO THE ACADEMY AWARD NOMINEES FROM THE POODLES OF PARK AVENUE BY KAREN-CHERIE COGANE!

Hooray for Hollywood!

The 94th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 27 and will be televised on ABC TV at 8:00 pm ET on 3/27. Dapper Oscar reappears at this time of year. So, let’s cheer!

A vision in gold, this dashing gentleman never gets old. What is his beauty routine? He has such gleam! Does he use a special anti-aging cream? Or how about a body and face mask? Surely, that would be no easy task! Maybe he goes for a beauty day. Anyway, he’s A-Okay!

As for the ceremony, it will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

There are three talented hosts, and they are Regina King, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes. What fun it will be to have the show helmed by three charming comedians.

An array of A-list presenters will give the winners the awards.

ABC TV will have the Oscars Pre-Show from 1 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, March 27.

The Red Carpet starts at 6:30 pm ET on ABC TV. I can hardly wait to see everyone looking great.

The nominees and their plus ones will sashay in tuxes and elegant gowns for a prestigious night on the town.

Will the women dazzle in evening attire in gold, colors that are bold, or opt for soft pastels? Why can tell?

Will the men be in black tuxes or go for something that is not quite as traditional or luxe?

Celebrities are busy bees. It’s called fame, and everyone shouts their name.

So, what picture will reign? And will Best Actress for “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” be Jessica Chastain?

“Hi from Simone, THE Park Avenue poodle! I want to let you know that my pet mother, Grace, is a film buff, and she wants to make sure I am not just lots of fluff. So, she tells me all the current important stuff.

Thankfully, I have a great memory, which goes with the poodle territory.

Since there are so many nominees, I gave Frank some notes written by mommy.

As dictated to Frank, my dog walker’s I-Phone, here they are:

There are other important categories, too, that you will find out when you view.

Who will the winners be? Watch the Academy Awards show, and soon you'll know!”

Fast Forward to March 27: “Hi again from Simone, and I’m at our Oscars viewing party and pre-show dinner at our apartment!

My parents, Raymond and Grace, a few of our human friends, Ricardo, my poodle beau, and Jorge, his person, are here.

Mojito, my Chihuahua walking partner, is home with his parents, who thankfully, have the night off. Hope he has a nice time with his people watching the Oscars, but I am glad the nutty Mojito will not be at our bash. He is always making such a commotion. I imagine him barking his way through the Academy Awards TV show. Mojito’s humans are MDs, so I assume they’ll give him some calming doggie CBDs.

My BFF (Best Furry Friend) Lexi, the English Sheepdog, is coming, too with her pet mother. Can’t wait to cash up with my favorite furry gal pal. At least Mojito will not be here since he doesn’t leave Lexi alone. He is obsessed with her and wants her to be part of his doggie harem (but he doesn’t even have one girlfriend). LOL!

Our super chef, Jorge, made many gourmet creations and quenching libations.

Fancy human hors d’oeuvres selections of quiche, caviar, sushi, sashimi, truffles, etc. are about to be served.

Even though the doggies will have a choice of salmon, pumpkin, and beef mini concoctions for hors d’oeuvres, let’s be clear: I want the people stuff!

A pre-show sirloin steak dinner with an array of veggies, twice baked potatoes, and home-made rolls will please the palate. And that’s not it. Jorge said he is giving us pooches some of the above human food.

Gold frosted cupcakes filled with chocolate ganache and French champagne are more delights for this festive night. I might take some sipees and get a little tipsy. Yippee!

Jorge also made petit fours, which I adore. They are decorated with floral designs. Almost look too good to eat, but my, oh my, I’ll surely give them a try. They’re the perfect size to fit into my poodle mouth.

There is even a big gold edible Oscar statue that is dark chocolate, that Jorge created. It is our table centerpiece. I don’t know how Jorge does it. He can make anything and everything! Wonder if any human will take a bite of it, but I would really love to. I’m just saying.

Everyone is commiserating and celebrating.

Mom and dad are all dressed up, and I am their glamorous poodle pup. My hair is all blown out, and that’s what it’s all about!

Elegant Grace is wearing a gold satin gown, and Raymond is wearing a black tux and a black bow tie. My parents look like they stepped out of Vanity Fair. And I’ll say very loud: I’m beyond proud!

Mom’s golden hair is up in a chic bun, and her ears are adorned with gold dangling earrings. Her swan-like neck shows off a glimmering gold necklace, and rest assured, her wrist glimmers in a beautiful gold bracelet.

Jorge is also wearing a black tux, but he has a long white chef’s apron on now, while he is finishing up the cooking and plating.

My dream is to play a premier role on the big screen!

When they make a movie about me, Simone Margery, I want to win an Academy Award for Best Dog Actress. Yes!

I’ll play the lead, and Ricardo, my love, can play himself.

Maybe Raymond and Grace can play themselves, as can Frank, my dog walker. I’ll have to talk to the Casting Director, Producer, and Director about this.

I guess I will have to cast ‘Mojito,’ since he is my daily walking companion. But and I repeat, but the real Mojito cannot be cast. He is too temperamental and would never behave on set. Yes, they could give him CBDs for doggies, but they couldn’t give enough to he! (Yeah, I know it’s supposed to be ‘him.’ Just wanted to rhyme.)

Since I’m a canine with clout, the paparazzi will enthuse: ‘Simone! Simone! Who are you wearing? Can I take your pic?’

It will be a VIP, Very Important Poodle photo opportunity, so I’ll agree. Bien sur, everyone will be looking at me. Oui!

They’ll feature me on the Oscar themed entertainment shows since I’m a pooch in the know.

Good Luck to all the talented nominees! May the best canines, I mean, people win!

Bonne Chance! And I’m so excited I will dance!

How about having the Oscars next year for Best Dog Actress and Actor in a Leading Role, Supporting Role, and the other categories? Pretty please? This can be part of the Academy Awards main show, and all the VIP humans and dogs will go.

I have my acceptance speech ready: ‘I’d like to thank my pet parents, Raymond and Grace, my boyfriend, Ricardo, my dog walker, Frank, Jorge, my chef, my stylist, Lilly, my butler, Ardsley, my nanny, Francine, and . . . Of course, I must thank all my fans!’

I know I'll fit in perfectly, as LA will welcome my fam and me.

Not trying to blow my own horn (Well, I kind of am) but I will take Hollywood by storm!

Maybe daddy can buy us a house in Beverly Hills, and we’ll thrive on Rodeo Drive. Pop can also do finance business in La La Land, and life will be grand.

We’ll keep our Manhattan apartment, but when I’m movie shooting, we can stay here. After all, it’s sunny and warm most times of the year.’

I hope everyone has a great time watching the Oscars. Whether you are viewing the show on your living room couch or not, why not have an Academy Awards soiree in honor of Hollywood film’s great day? Hooray!

And if you have a bash, big or small, have a ball!

P. S. "For your consideration: Here is my glossy, and I even know jazz paws by Fosse! Mommy studied jazz dance with a renowned jazz dance teacher in NYC, and she gave the knowledge to lucky me! What more do you need to know? I'm Simone, so let's go!"
