A good example of European cooperation and development through EU programs
During 10 years and 7 EU-projects, the following experts from 6 European countries contributed to the development of a practical provider model for quality assurance in vocational education based on the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET)
The innovative nature of the model is a top-down approach to criteria, descriptors, and indicators of EQAVET with a bottom-up provider need approach. The result will be a common framework with criteria that are workable and possible to implement. In this way, EQAVET becomes a European tool/instrument used by VET providers with real practical impact on quality in VET. (https://www.eqavet.eu/Top-Navigation/EQAVETinPractice)
This result could not be achieved without cross-border cooperation through EU educational programs. Thank you European Union.
Folkuniversitetet Uppsala as the coordinator of the above projects is very proud to be engaged with top experts from different European countries.
