Good Communication Is Key To Building Long-Term Relationships - Trusted Recruiter Workshop With Ambition Hong Kong

Just last month, I was in Hong Kong for a Leadership workshop and the Trusted Recruiter workshops with Ambition, Hong Kong. It was the first time spending the day with this group at an off-site. The previous courses I had conducted with them were on-site- it was really refreshing to work in a different environment with this talented bunch of recruiters. 

The goal for the day revolved around topics about being a trusted recruiter. We kicked off the morning in true TCE style with an ice-breaker, that explored good communication skills specifically listening and questioning skills. 

The activity that followed was a verbal problem-solving activity that helped the team reach a common understanding of meaning, and to recognise problems caused with imprecise communication patterns. 

It is critical for any sales professional to acquire an ability listen, and use qualification questioning skills to successfully uncover and satisfy a client’s needs. More often than not, salespersons are quick to jump to a solution before the clients have even outlined their needs. This unconscious habit can jeopardise a relationship that is being built in progress, and they end up selling a product that the client is not looking for.
