Good in Bad!

I dropped to the ground suddenly one evening in the middle of the road, was told that my blood pressure was low. It did not end there. In the course of that fall I managed to injure my knee and ankle. I was rushed to the hospital, followed by IV, X-ray and so on.
I am that person you see at work, or in family who is always "active" no matter what. But, this situation slowed my momentum in everything I do. I had to watch every single step I took. EVERY. SINGLE. STEP. Earlier, I glance my way and I am set. This is different. I was upset, unable to switch to this routine of slowing down. Went to bed dreading how I would manage this at work.
Work day morning ,I wake up as usual, got ready only to realize "Damn I can't drive". I sulked my way to book a ride. You know how it is, you just keep booking and they keep cancelling. This long game went on till I felt hopeless and I hear a DING a message which read " your ride is booked. Not exaggerating, but I never thought I would feel a burst of relief.
I took my ride slouching again rushing in my head, not physically. Ten minutes through my ride, I lowered my window. Now, this is most important part. This entirely, changed the way I looked at my injury. All of us have these mundane routines that we forget to actually pause and look around.
As I rolled the window down fresh morning air hitting my face brought a silly smile . I listened to my devotion peacefully and completely. The sky was blue, the pink flowers covered the path. I had the silly smile all through the journey. Just before I got off and limped my way to the lift, I realized how I do not observe these things daily and ironically, I was appreciating this moment.
How we need a "pause" button in life to realize it's not a bad place after all that we live in, which we rush through everyday. For now, embracing my limp and seeing the good in bad, or let's just say seeing only the good.
Ending with a completely unrelated quote. Cause why not !
"IT'S ON
Time to make the magic happen "
