Good Air Ambassadors Program 2023
The Clean Air Ambassadors program is aimed at educating school and college students about air quality. The program involves extensive interactions with subject matter experts, alongside hands-on training experiences through field visits, all of which contribute to developing a deep understanding of "Air".
In 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting Erik Saini , Harsh Ahuja, Kevin Chugh, Meher Sharma and Priyavi Singh from Heritage International Xperiential School (HIXS Gurgaon) during their summer break. They took part in several discussions with Rahul Sehrawat , the IAQ Head at YOGa. He guided them on a journey to making the invisible air visible, exploring the history of air and its connection with technological advancements in the world. Subsequently, the students engaged in practical sessions and hands-on training required for IAQ audits.
To further enrich their knowledge, Sachin Panwar , Founder & CEO, shared insights into the various technologies and their impact. This knowledge extended to field visits, where the students witnessed first-hand how air behaves in various real-life situations and its relationship with sources and activities taking place in those areas.
Under Sagar Sameer , the students were assigned projects to apply their newfound knowledge and test their understanding in real-life situations.
Our ultimate goal is to create awareness about the air we breathe, considering that on average, we inhale approximately 11,000 litres of Air per day. Unfortunately, despite its importance, we often take the air for granted. The program strives to instill a scientific mindset, enabling students to observe natural phenomena and make informed decisions to mitigate risks at an early stage, fostering a sustainable lifestyle for all.
