Goldman Sachs is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Build user web experiences using React.js, Angular and Web Components
• Build backing services to power the frontends using Node.js and Java
• Build software libraries for engineering teams to use for their application development, code quality assurance and product delivery
• Evaluate UX designs for technical feasibility and delivery timeliness
• Test applications and libraries using enterprise tools such as Cypress, Vitest and Puppeteer
• Manage delivered web experiences ensuring continuous iterative improvement by capturing user feedback
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews and contribute to the development of code quality standards and software best practices
• Mentor and coach junior team members to promote growth and learning
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time
• Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Lead and contribute to software architecture and design decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Proficient in building applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, ReactJS and Angular
• Experience with frontend development tools such as Node.js, Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, and Nx
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Desire to research and stay up to date on emerging user experience technologies and practices
