Goldeneye and FI

Goldeneye and FI - hey that rhymes ;) If you came of age in the late 1990's like me, you probably spent some time with a sniper rifle in the stack waiting for an unlucky opponent to compromise his position. My friends loved Goldeneye, but I was never great at it. I was never patient enough. You had to "set the trap" then watch other players' screens and map locations in anticipation. I kinda feel that way with FI. I "set the trap" and am saving money at a high rate, but now, I am losing my patience. I am exploring side hustles to speed things up, but with a looming recession, it is a tough time. No ones wants to invest at the peak and look like a sucker. No answers today - just an observation. Do you see similarities between Goldeneye and FI? What about other "games" - like Risk or Stratego?
