A GOLDEN NAUTICAL SAIL AWARDED TO MARINA PUNAT

Marina Punat Named Best Marina of 2024 by Sailors and Readers of Jutarnji List, Winning the Prestigious Golden Nautical Sail Award for the Fourth Time

On 16 September 2024, the closing ceremony of the “Summer with Jutarnji” initiative took place at ACI Marina Cres, where awards were presented to the best marinas and tourist destinations in Croatia. This initiative, organised by Jutarnji List for the eighth consecutive year, is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and the Croatian National Tourist Board to promote and evaluate the country's tourist offerings. This year, the poll attracted the attention of 42,484 readers, while 6,464 sailors and guests completed the entire survey.

Marina Punat was awarded the Golden Nautical Sail for 2024, marking its fourth win in the history of the initiative, following victories in 2017, 2019, and 2022. The Silver Sail was awarded to Marina Frapa Rogoznica, while the Bronze Sail went to ACI Marina Rovinj. In the newly introduced category of Top Destination, Dubrovnik took first place, followed by Zadar and Mali Lo?inj.

Goran Ogurli?, editor-in-chief of Jutarnji List, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Ton?i Glavina, and the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, Kristjan Stani?i?, presented the awards.

Renata Marevi?, Director of Marina Punat, proudly accepted the award and stated: "This recognition comes in the year when the marina celebrates its 60th anniversary, making this award even more special. It confirms that safety and service quality remain at a high level, which has always been our priority. In this milestone year, we have completed two major capital investments worth 11.5 million euros – our new Marina Restaurant and the most advanced boat lift, with a capacity of up to 540 tonnes, laying strong foundations for the future success of the marina. A big thank you to everyone who voted for us, and especially to our employees and partners, who consistently work hard to maintain the high quality and success of Marina Punat."
