We know we are at our best when we are together. I am happy to announce that we are offering our consumer and business customers totally unlimited mobile data in Ireland and Europe, with no fair usage policy restrictions. So from today, the majority of customers can upgrade to an equivalent unlimited data, 5G ready plan at no additional cost.

In the last 12 months, mobile data usage on our network has almost doubled from 15,000TB to 28,000TB, representing a significant step-change in how we use mobile connectivity. Since the onset of the Covid 19 crisis, our use of mobile technology has increased even more with many businesses relying on it to manage activity and ensure continuity while restrictions are in place. And many of us are using it to learn, play and stay connected to family and friends– even when we have to be apart.

Over the past ten years, we have invested €2 billion in our network and I am proud to say that we now have 99% population coverage and are Ireland’s best network for a fifth year in a row. So as you continue to increase your use of mobile technology and reap the benefits from it, you can now do so on the best network without fair usage policies or additional costs.

 Offers to suit you

Not everyone uses their phone in the same way. Our unlimited packages were designed to reflect the different needs of our customers and provide the opportunity for people to scale up or down their service in line with their day-to-day requirements.

For example, we have included unlimited international calls in our RED Business Max plan so you can liaise with international customers, without extra charge. We have also included international calls on our RED Unlimited consumer plans, alongside unlimited texts, to help you stay connected to friends and loved ones abroad. For when we can travel again, we have included generous worldwide roaming packages, but also unlimited data in the EU.

Business customers can avail of additional services such as mobile security and an enhanced smart working toolkit that includes virtual office number, call conferencing and Microsoft Office 365 Online. These will help unlock the potential of mobile technology and realise the flexibility and freedom this can bring as we face the road to recovery.
