Lifestyle Changes & Behavioural Healthcare will enable enhanced clinical outcome by over 23% Chances of Conception over the success rate of IVF or Other MAR Treatments.

One of the joys of life most individuals- male and female- wish for is Parenthood. Especially after a couple enters the bond of love or marriage or both, it dreams of a perfect family. The picture mostly seems complete only with the cooing, screaming, laughter, and tantrums of a little one. But some of us face difficulties in completing this dream owing to several reasons. The modern lifestyle, food habits, work stress, obesity, lack of knowledge of fertility treatments & options, the barriers thrust on us by our society are some of the many reasons for a couple to face infertility issues. These reasons impact us irrespective of gender, age, and socio-economic status. That is when we start knocking at the doors of Doctors.

One of the most commonly referred treatments in the Artificial Reproductive Technology (ART) segment is IVF (In Vitro Fertility). IVF is a fertilization process where the egg is fertilized in vitro, meaning in the laboratory, and mixed with sperm outside the body. In India, the success rate of IVF is said to be 30- 35%, as reported by the Times of India in April 2020. In the global scenario, women who undergo IVF treatment before they reach the age of 35 have a conception chance of 39.6% (as per the most trusted WebMD guide to Infertility and Reproduction). However, after the age of 35, the percentage of success rate reduces manifold, and by the time a woman reaches 40, the possibility of success of IVF is reduced to 11.5%, and 2.3% by the time she reaches 44. These figures can significantly change depending on the individual.

Some couples find success and joy on the first or within the initial few attempts of IVF treatment, while some others take longer. What could be the cause for the lag, or failure in some cases? The answer could be physiological per se, but not always! The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) has propounded, in its guidelines on Routine Psychosocial Care in Infertility and Medically Assisted Reproduction, that a 15% increase in pregnancy rates at fertility clinics can be expected if full compliance with the treatment is achieved, and full compliance can be achieved only when the patients feel complete satisfaction and care. However, using the latest findings and invention of new and renewed techniques, this percentage can be increased to a significant 23%. Vyana Life assures you that.

We understand that a couple undergoing infertility treatment constantly feels a plethora of emotions. There are smiles, there is panic, there is nervousness, there is angst, there is much more. There will be a lot of days when the couple undergoing treatment will feel lost, doubtful, annoyed, and hesitant- wondering what to do, how to proceed, what kind of life to live to stay on the brighter side! No matter how much love there is between the couple, shreds of disappointment sometimes create indifference and emotional absence. The feeling might further also lead to personal physical neglect. Are you and your partner facing this too!
