This is going to be a huge week ...

A client asked me recently ...

"what would you attribute your success to - success or failure ?"

Having raised (and subsequently invested) billions over a 30+ year career as an entrepreneur in alternative investments, raising capital is something I know a little bit about. I also know a lot about what NOT to do from personal experience.

My answer was clear and quick, almost kneejerk - "failure of course" (because we all know that we learn more from failure than we do from success) ... well I don't think I was absolutely accurate with that answer. When we spoke about it again, I rescinded my answer and said 60:40, maybe 70:30 - actually I have no way of knowing and its really a silly answer to a good question.

So here's what you missed on the all important subject of

our clients absolutely loved the video and if you've seen any of my videos, you know that they are unscripted, unfiltered, unedited and yes, sometimes unhinged. Hopefully not the last one - but having been shadow-banned a few times by Linkedin, I am trying my best to behave.

My next video, seems to have struck a nerve, because we had a significant number of sign ups to our https://raisingcapital.live/ event that is coming up this week.

and then for the rest of the week I worked non stop on funnel building, email automation and content for the Live event happening later on this week.

?? Having had a number of guided tour requests for my new home studio - you can see it plus the radical new live zoom wall that I've created. (and of course the surprise visit by some cheeky minions at the end)

Yes, its finally arrived - our 3 day Live | Virtual event focused on, drumrolls please ..... attracting clients and raising capital. its going to be epic (and the first event of this nature in the new home studio)

Day 1

We start on Wednesday morning in the main stage and will spend the bulk of the day working on Strategy (The first S in the SSS Framework)

Strategy + Story + Systems = Success by ??

thats has (thus far) raised several billion in new capital from investors. As I always say, Macro clear = Micro Easy and all roads begin with a deep dive into really identifying YOUR RIGHT FIT CLIENT - almost everyone I meet (me incl.) fails at it at first. Just as a jar cannot read its own label, we entrepreneurs can often not see whats glaringly obvious to others.

I don't want to give it all away (because at the end of the day you should just join us at the event), but take it from me, this strategy work really digs deep and has provided me with some of my most rewarding work (and subsequent success, fees and testimonials).

Day 1 concludes with an open mic night, Q&A and networking in the digital version of the Bar Américain in Monaco - you can see a preview of that here

Day 2

Day 2 of the event will be all about creating YOUR Story which is comprised of your Origin Story + your Vision Story + your Validation Story - also known as a conversion story. Robbie Crabtree will be joining us for most of this day, and also deliver a workshop on delivering that story to close deals. I can't wait as I really enjoy his content and approach

Day 3

is my absolute favorite because thats where the rubber meets the road. Thats where we roll up our sleeves and integrate the Strategy from day 1 plus the Story pieces we created on day 2 - into robust, scaleable systems that can deliver your authentic message in the right doses at the right time TO THE RIGHT PERSON using Trust and passion as the delivery mechanism.

so thats about all I have time for right now - its 2h27 am in the morning here and I have an early start.
