Cheeky Request: Can I have your spare change for families in need please?

In July I will setting out to raise ￡550 for the UN Refugee Agency, this amount of money will help shelter three families that have been displaced by the recent wars we have been watching unfold on TV and social media. 

These families are just like you and me, women, children and average people just trying to earn a living are having their entire world shattered, dealing with atrocities we can’t even begin to imagine. You can find out more here: UNHCR- Figures at a Glance

What am I doing?

Nothing complicated, I am going to change my lifestyle to take part in UNHCR Extra Mile Challenge via GivePenny & Runkeeper and get some miles into my legs, I’m going to run a marathon virtually by getting out and doing miles when I can around my busy schedule and grumbling back problems, RunKeeper will track my progress which will upload here onto my GivePenny Page.

I’m NOT looking for lots of your hard earned cash, my simple request is can I please have the change in your pocket? I’m connected to thousands of people on social media, I only need 550 of you to pledge ￡1 or ￡2 and together we’ll change the lives of three desperate families for the better.
