Going to the Dentist

Life is your expert teacher. It is a professional that examines us, coaches us and gives us advice on what is most useful. As an expert, life shows us how reality works so that we can learn how to be more effective in engaging with other people. All of this happens only if we choose to learn from and enjoy life by engaging reality instead of fighting life.

It is much like going to the dentist. Every day, every action we take is brought into the examination room. We need to take that one next step. We need to open our mouth so that the real work can then be done… and yet so many of us are unwilling to open up.

The most successful among us do open up. We learn each day with each action.

Others walk in and out of the examination room without opening up and get nowhere.
