Going Deep into Yellowstone

Going Deep into Yellowstone

While Yellowstone grabs visitors with its grandeur, fewer visitors understand its controversies. I sure didn’t when I moved to Gardiner, Mont, right at Yellowstone’s north gate. But I quickly realized that Gardiner and Yellowstone sit at the heart of a number of controversies, and I wrote Deep into Yellowstone to explore both. Here’s what readers recently said:

“Enchanting, educational and uplifting... if you care about our wildlife and wild lands and the importance of keeping them wild, Rick Lamplugh's, Deep Into Yellowstone, brings passion, determination and a test of the human spirit into his writing, thought provoking and honest. A must read for our times.” 5-Star review by Illumina

“The second book by Rick Lamplugh I've read. This one seems even more personal than In The Temple of Wolves with Rick sharing more inner thoughts and insights about his love for Yellowstone, the creatures in and around the park, and the threats that challenge it's existence. Humorous at times but always thought provoking. It's been a great read. Now on to his third book The Wilds of Aging. It's on my Christmas list.” 5-Star review by Richard

“I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. If you’re a fan of Abbey or Bryson, you’ll find comfort in these pages. A perfect mix of the author’s experiences over the course of a year interacting with Yellowstone and scientific/historic perspectives on the park.” 5-Star review by Caleb

“I volunteer at YNP riding herd on bear, wolf, and bison jams, keeping the animals safe from the admiring hordes. Consequently, I am enthralled with YNP. The author has done an excellent job in taking the reader into the park at different seasons. Most interesting are the outside perils to the park and its animals from greed and short-sightedness.” 5-Star review by AC

“Rick is a wolf advocate and his writing just holds you hostage until the end, then you want his next book. He's written three, ALL of them are wonderful. You can buy his books from him and he'll sign them, all three make wonderful gifts!!!” 5-Star review by Barbara

All of my books, In the Temple of Wolves; its sequel, Deep into Yellowstone; and its prequel, The Wilds of Aging, are available signed by me. They are also available unsigned as ebook, paperback and audiobook.
