Going Beyond Positivity

As a true believer in positive thinking, but not what that only looks through rose colored bombardier glasses. There is a lot more that goes into it. There is belief, hope, trust, resiliency, optimism, motivation, accountability, and self-discipline. Then there is having an abundant mentality. Which is the opposite of a scarcity mentality.
Being a positive thinker means that the majority of your mental energy is focused on positive outcomes. You spend time contemplating how to enhance your character and improve your relationships. You prioritize personal growth and generosity towards others. Generally, you find joy in life and subscribe to the adage "where there's a will, there's a way" which inspires you to seek opportunities rather than obstacles. While the those with a scarcity mentality usually point fingers outward looking for “It’s their fault that I didn’t…? A victim mentality. Don’t be a victim, there is already to many of them!
?While you are aware of potential problems, you do not dwell on them. Instead, you identify your strengths and leverage them, without fixating on your weaknesses. You also tend to view others through a similar positive lens. You assert your desires, work hard to achieve them, and believe you hold your future in your own hands. In essence, positive thinkers are committed, industrious optimists.
?Abundance Thinking is a refined form of positive thinking. It is grounded in optimism and underscores excess, bounty, and gratitude. Abundance is the antithesis of scarcity or deficiency. A belief system that fosters abundant results in prosperity.
You are drawn towards happiness and self-assurance, away from worry and stress. When you conduct your life - whether it's work, love, leisure, or dreaming - from a place of personal abundance, you inevitably generate more abundance. Love begets love. Abundance begets abundance.
?Practicing abundance
Repetition is the key to adopting new beliefs and behaviors. It strengthens the neural pathways that enable ease and habit. The process of learning a new mindset or behavior is akin to learning to golf, reading a profit and loss statement, or performing a surgical procedure. The optimal way to make an abundant mentality or a great golf shot feel natural is the same: practice, practice, practice.
?Set a goal and formulate a plan. Then practice. Each day, strive to view the world as a place of excess and bounty. Each day, affirm that there is always enough of everything for everyone. Each day, monitor your self-talk.
Cease victim/scarcity narratives. If you've previously perceived life as a zero-sum game, challenge that belief.
If you've always assumed that some people having more means others must go without, scrutinize your reasoning. Begin to take control of your relationship with money, abundance, and success.
?For a moment, envision yourself as an abundance thinker. Imagine that the following statements about you are true:

So, rise up and embrace abundance in every aspect of your life. Begin each day with gratitude for the limitless opportunities that lie before you. Recognize the wealth of potential within you and around you. Know that there is more than enough to go around, and that your success does not diminish anyone else's.
?Cultivate a mentality of abundance and watch as it transforms your perspective, your actions, and ultimately, your reality.
?The time to start is now. Be abundant. Be grateful. Be limitless. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Because you have the power to create a life of abundance. It starts with a thought, and it grows with action.
?So, take that step today. Practice abundance, be abundant. The world is yours for the taking.
