Going back to basics

Hey there!

Have you ever thought about what role your values play in your journey?

You see, most people forget about considering values because we mainly only give attention to the results. I, too, was guilty of this at some point in my life.

One of the many things I've learned from my experience is?the need to focus on the roots and not only on the fruits.

To be able to grasp this, it is so worth looking at your values. They play a huge role in answering the different questions you'll face on your journey. That's why you must make yourself aware of your iceberg by looking deeper, and understanding your values and the values you wish to share with the people around you. This is immensely important if you collaborate and partner with other people.

How do you do this? You need to go back to the basics ... look inside.

You can start with finding the answers to the following:

• What matters to you the most?
• What are you comfortable doing and saying?
• What is the kind of environment and lifestyle you wish to be in?

When you've finally settled on an answer to these questions, you'll then be able to see the values you cherish the most. That makes so many other questions disappear.
