Going ‘Agile’- Delivering a baby in 1 month!
Our existence as humans stands void, if we do not adhere to set of guidelines as ‘Following a process’ is one of the most vital factors of modern-civilized society.
The same concept applies to modern IT development and project management.
These project management techniques are now so embedded in “Blood” of IT Engineers that they start seeing the process of Making Babies with the lenses of software development frameworks.
NATURE: A Woman Produces a baby in 9 months.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: 9 women can make a baby in a month!!
LEAN: We concentrate on conception and birth and eliminate the waiting in the middle J
SCRUM: We take the baby out every 2 weeks to show the parents and ask if this is what they want and then plan the next 2 weeks growth with any change needed.
AGILE: At any time, we can change the baby’s nationality, sex or even the choice of delivery- natural or Caesarean!!
KANBAN: We make small baby parts one by one until we have a whole baby.
