God's Way or The Highway

"These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren." - Proverb 6:16-19

It’s ridiculous, it’s crazy, it’s spiritual suicide. What are you thinking? Do you really think you can serve God anyway you want? Do you think you can enter God’s kingdom and disobey his commandments? Think again - its God’s way or hit the highway, walk away there is no other way.

You serve God your way I’ll serve him mine - I hear this all the time. I find it amazing that people still make that statement today. Have you read your bible lately? The Holy Bible is your instruction manual. It determines your final destination - Heaven or Hell. On judgment day what will you say? I did it my way, may I enter Heaven anyway?

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." - Revelation 20:12

Be reasonable, be rational stop and think, let us use some common sense. How can you dwell in anyone’s house and do whatever you want? Its Gods house not your house he decides who will enter those pearly white gates. Be it sister or brother, relative or friend, if you want to live in my house, you must obey my house rules or get out.

Liars, thieves and killers, we live among them right here on earth. Do you really think God will allow these sinners to dwell in his kingdom where peace, love and tranquility will abide forever? Access to the kingdom can only come through obedience. Try as you may to do things your way. Access denied if you don’t follow all of God’s laws. From thou shall not lie, steal or kill to the Sabbath day of worship, they are all part of God’s Commandments.

In my Father’s house there are many mansions. It’s God’s house, his kingdom where the righteous shall dwell forever, happily ever after. But his laws and statuses, all of his Commandments you must follow. Serving God your way will only get you thrown into the lake of fire.

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” - James 2:10
