Whenever we are in difficulty we pray to God and seek his help. We live in a society where we pay utmost respect to God. Since my childhood I have been a regular Church goer and these values and religious beliefs are because of my Grandparents and parents. I have been always told to trust God and pray to him for every single need or desire I had. Though I was also told we should not take God’s name in vain.
We remember God only when we need something or are stuck in an unfortunate condition or situation. We go to various places and worship him, make wishes and promise ourselves to follow them once we receive the desired thing or come of out a bad situation. Some of us also believe in other sources and do things which we are not supposed to do or is against God’s wish. We must remember it is our God who is with us in every situation and will always take us out of it. Our belief should be strong enough so that none of the outer attractions or wrong beliefs hamper our faith in him.
Psalms 91:14-15 says
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high , because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him”
I have been fortunate enough to experience God’s presence in my life many times and in many ways. We ask God “what have you done for me?”. The answer to this question is “LIFE”. It is because of him we experience all that we have today. We must thank him for what we have and never question him of what he hasn’t done for us. Just like a father knows what is right for his child, God knows what is good for us and when it should be given to us.
I have experienced help from God in various ways during my bad times. My trust in him was shaken up but every time it got revived when I received help and it gave me strength to walk an extra mile. After coming out of an unfortunate situation I became stronger as a person and my faith in him grew stronger and stronger.
Psalms 28: 7 says
“The Lord is my strength and is my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song will praise Him.”
