Today's devotional is from A Daily Taste of Proverbs

“Blessings crown the head of the righteous, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked” - 10:6.

You can have confidence in God's ability to bless and protect you. As an example, consider the story of Rahab, who hid Joshua's spies and was spared when Israel attacked her city. What's more, Rahab ended up being listed in Jesus' family tree. That is a great example of how God can fulfill His promise to watch over you!

Are you trusting in Him or giving in to unwarranted fears? Are you counting on God's blessing, boldly asking for it to do the work God has assigned for you to do? To read more about Rahab, see Joshua 2, Joshua 6:25, and Matthew 1:5.
