He resigned from Google today to warn of the risks associated with the technology. He is concerned that generative AI could lead to a wave of misinformation and outright replace some jobs.
Hinton is also worried about the possibility of fully autonomous weapons and the tendency of AI models to learn odd behavior from training data.
He fears an escalation that won’t be checked without regulations or the development of effective controls. Read more

Save the picture. It may be useful later.
6. Snapchat AI LIES
First, the AI ChatBot denies that he knew the user's location. Then it suggests a McDonald's near the user which indicates the ChatBot knew the user's location!!

1 年He has got a warped view of AI. He sees the world in its current form where people work for living until they die as a way of life forever. The world needs to change. AI is everyone's salvation. We want AI to take everyones job. In the beginning people will have sit down and be afraid of what to do i do now. BUT humans are not that fragile. They will eventually figure out other ways when forced to. You do not need to work to live in the current way you have adopted as the only way. Millions of people are business owners and live freely. This will simply pave the way to a new way of life. Where people will have a chance at seeing what existence is actually about without the need to work as a way of survival until they die. That is not what existence was intended for. People have just forgotten what life is about, because they are brainwashed to believe that all you do is work, have kids, two week vacation and then retire and die. Thats doesnt sound like its worth getting up in the morning for over 8 billion people after centuries up on centuries. Doing nothing different until they die as a civilization.
