God is Your Qualification
In our recent discussion, we delved into a fresh understanding of calling and destiny. Today, let's address a common concern that many may resonate with: the uncertainty surrounding where to commence the journey, despite a clear understanding of our divine calling and destiny. Some may be pondering, "How will God launch me into my calling when I lack the conventional qualifications such as education, training, or relevant experiences?" I, too, have confronted such doubts. Nevertheless, through diverse transitions with the Lord in recent years, my confidence has flourished as I've come to realize that God is my qualification. It is the Spirit of the Lord that empowers us to fulfill our divine callings. In today’s message, I would like to recount three testimonies that have strengthened my confidence as I set forth new adventures with the Lord during different transitions.
The First Transition: Overcoming Insecurities
The pivotal transition dates back to the early stages of my journey with the Lord. At that juncture, I was in the process of closing my own business, contemplating the next steps. Despite my previous accomplishments, I found myself wrestling with low self-esteem and doubts about my abilities. In a providential turn, God sent an angel into my life who recognized my linguistic talents and steered me towards freelancing language services, an area where I lacked formal training.
By divine appointment, I crossed paths with my first client, seeking a translator for a high-profile luxury car brand. Though I lacked professional experience and qualifications, she entrusted me with the task, affirming, “It is ok. Somehow, I trust you.” The assignment proved to be more challenging than anticipated, given its tight deadline and intricate technical jargon within the automotive industry. However, guided by the Holy Spirit, I discovered helpful resources and completed the task in a single night, exceeding the client’s expectations and establishing a foundation for ongoing collaboration.
This episode illuminated a profound truth for me that God’s favor transcends earthly qualifications. His Spirit, working within us, enables us to succeed where we feel inadequate.
The Second Transition: An Accelerated Promotion
Following the closure of my business, the need for a well-paying full-time job became imperative to alleviate my financial burdens. Struggling to secure one, I eventually settled into a marketing assistant position, aligning with my aspiration to become a marketing professional. However, the initial optimism was met with an unexpected twist – I did not receive a formal contract after a month-long trial.
Disheartened and burdened by financial obligations, I applied for numerous sales positions out of desperation but only landed one interview. Unexpectedly, the course of that interview took an unforeseen turn from a sales role to the position of marketing manager; it granted me an interview with the marketing director afterwards, and our conversation flowed effortlessly as the Spirit of the Lord spoke through me. Despite my limited experience in marketing, I secured the position, accompanied by a doubling of my previous salary.
While the initial job loss left me disheartened, little did I know that God was orchestrating an accelerated promotion, elevating me from a marketing assistant to a marketing manager within a week. Furthermore, God’s unwavering presence and guidance continued throughout my time with that company and led me to remarkable achievements, highlighted by a salary increase exceeding 20% within only six months.
Reflecting on this transformative experience, I learned the valuable lesson of not compromising but placing unwavering trust in God as our qualification. He alone can propel us into the positions He has destined for us, far beyond our initial expectations.

The Third Transition: Academic Triumph
During the time I worked as a marketing manager, I successfully paid off most of my debt and enhanced my life quality. However, amidst these achievements, I felt a compelling urge to seek a higher calling through prayer and fasting. At that time, God revealed to me that it was time to equip myself for a future ministry by pursuing a master’s degree in the U.S. This dream, long buried in my heart due to past academic struggles and unsuccessful attempts at standardized exams, was rekindled.
To my astonishment, the educational institution handpicked by God did not require scores from standardized exams for admission. Instead, the professors fervently prayed over each application, discerning candidates through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Despite my low GPA, their discernment led to my acceptance—an act that deeply blessed my heart.
God not only resurrected my dormant dream but also empowered me to excel beyond measure. Throughout the program, the Spirit of the Lord diligently guided me in every assignment, enabling me to achieve straight ‘A’s in every class. Additionally, I received an invitation to join the Honor Society for Social Work in recognition of my scholarly achievements. Upon graduation, I was even honored to share my transformative journey in a video that played repeatedly at the commencement ceremony.
This experience solidified my understanding that God's guidance and empowerment transcend perceived limitations. He can redeem areas where we were once considered failures, rewriting our stories with narratives of triumph.

Kingdom builders, do you have any dreams that seem stalled? Have you ever questioned your ability to fulfill God's calling? Like the Israelites viewing the promised land as a place full of giants, you might feel like a grasshopper in a world of obstacles. Yet, remember God is your qualification. He alone can launch and empower you to accomplish everything predestined for you. Don't let worldly perspectives limit your potential. The One who lives in you is greater than any obstacle. As you transition towards fulfilling your destiny, hold onto God's promises.

As we conclude, I encourage you to reflect on Exodus 31:1-11. My prayer is that the Spirit of God envelop you with wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, and understanding to navigate and triumph in all your endeavors. May God send you wise-hearted and skillful helpers in alignment with His divine purpose for you. Stay blessed! Thank you so much for your time and support!
