The God We Serve (from Lead Like Jesus)

Time and again the challenges of life and leadership call us back to remembering who God is so that we can reset our vision and values and chart a course forward. As we seek Him in His Word, as we see Him revealed in Jesus’ life, as we walk in the Spirit, we get to know Him better. This God, who so loved us that He willingly gave Himself for us, continues to pour out His love into our hearts by His Spirit, empowering us to love others as He loves us. Get to know Him better today.

SCRIPTURE:

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 

—Ephesians 1:17

PRAYER:

Father God, pour out Your Spirit. Reveal Yourself to us. Open our eyes to who You are so that we may know and serve You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
