God is waiting on us

God Morning Everyone,

Job 13:15 A (NKJV) says; "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." If you've read the Book of Job, you've discovered Job's theology wasn't correct (God didn't do this the enemy did), but he had a determination we all need to have in the midst of trials, tribulations, problems, sickness and disease, pandemics, people in government and and elsewhere that have greedy ambitions that would steal elections FOR PERSONAL GAIN, and control. Bad things are totally from the enemy. THE WORD is chock full of proof that GOD IS A GOOD GOD and the devil is a bad devil. This is one of the wonderful things Oral Roberts used to say.  

As I was praying and searching for what the Lord would have me say, today, I ran across today's Jerry Savelle Devotional. Here's a small portion of it; "Jesus made it clear who our enemy is when He said, 'Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour' (1 Peter 5:8 NKJV) and 'The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy' (John 10:10 NKJV).

He went on in the same verse to say, 'I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.' It is the devil who comes to steal from you and to try to destroy you. God is a good God; everything He does is for your good and for your benefit. He will never ever cause a harmful situation in your life to prove something to you or to teach you something. You are so loved by God that He is willing to give you freely all things to enjoy."

Okay, why then does the Lord delay His coming in and taking care of our problems that surround us? Hebrew 10:36-38 (MKJV) gives us a clue, I believe. It says; "For you have need of endurance (patience in the KJV), so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 'For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.'"

The word tarry comes from the Greek word "chronizō" meaning to take time, linger, delay, tarry. This, I believe, is explained by Jesus waiting 4 days to come to see Mary and Martha, then raise Lazarus from the dead. It says in John 11:40 (TPT); "Jesus looked at her and said, 'Didn’t I tell you that if you will believe in me, you will see God unveil his power?' ARE WE THERE YET, supposedly ready to see "God unveil His power"? 

I heard a preacher say, one time, if you don't sense the Lord in what you're doing, in your life and being, it was you who moved, NOT GOD. Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV) says; "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." 2 Corinthians 1:18-19 (NKJV) says; "But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes."

This is hard, there are so many ways I could go here!!!! I believe, with so many pastors and prophets, the Lord is waiting on us, the Church of the Living God, to get it's proverbial stuff together and decide I AM ON THE LORD'S SIDE. He's waiting for us to answer the question Elijah asked in 1 Kings 18:21 "How long will you halt and limp, waver, linger, sit on the fence between two opinions?" The Church, the Ekklesia, YOU AND ME, are the governing body on earth, not some government made up by man with his/her rules and regulations. If you look at the Constitution, it's full of Scripture references. The men who wrote it, spent many hours in prayer before and as they were drafting it. God is the ruler and we are His governing body.

My encouragement to you, today, is to make sure of your own position in all that's happening today. Then pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ to come to the knowledge of the truth of God and His will for the United States and the World. Socialism, abortion, racism, poverty, restrictions to the point of people losing their livelihoods, and so much more, ARE NOT OF GOD!!!!! Remember 3 John 2 that says; "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." 

Our glorious God wants this for each of us and the nation. Like Job, He's waiting for us to come to the knowledge of Him and then he can bless beyond our wildest dreams and hopes including the billion+ coming to Jesus.
