SUNDAY MORNING is upon us, and the last day of the Victorious Living Conference is at hand. Pastor David tells me that we will have an SRO crowd; in fact, they will be lined up out the door. In my short time here, I've fallen in love with these awesome people of great faith. Despite their awful living conditions, they BELEIVE!!! They are exuberant about worship, and look forward to each and every service. Those big bright smiles and beautiful deep eyes only serve to complement how smart and attentive they are and how sincerely they appreciate the smallest favor you do for them...

Once again, Daniel displays his wizardry at negotiating the moving deathtrap called Nairobi traffic. Although it is Sunday and traffic is reduced, there are those on the Kenyan roads who seemingly want to play "dare ya" with your life around every corner.

The little chapel is filling up quickly; those 150 seats will be filled soon. Worship starts and lasts well over an hour. I preach on the bride of Jesus. 3 get saved (AMEN!!!! 6 total so far!!!) and we are flooded with people who want prayer - nearly 40! Teddy, the translator, helps me out by praying with me for each and every one.

For the afternoon session, the crowd swells to around 300. The little chapel is beginning to feel like a toaster oven, but few notice or care. Worship is awesome once again. I preach on the husband's authority in marriage, and the dam breaks. We are inundated; Dozens want prayer. Other pastors who are in attendance help out; I'm surprised no one wants to get saved. We pray over each and every one. A couple of people fall out. What was supposed to end at 4:30 goes on until 6:30.

And so it is done. 6 people got saved. 6 sermons in 3 days. Thousands of seeds were planted and watered with the word. God worked in many, we know that for a fact; numerous testimonies proved it. God's word did not return void as many told me that my sermons hit home and changed lives.

As for me, I stepped way out of my comfort zone and did something that really stretched me. I made a couple of new friends who will - not maybe - have a significant impact on my ministry going forward. Finally, God used this to bring attention to Pastor David & his wife's ministry. Pastor David has started 5 churches from scratch in Kenya in some of the poorest areas in the world and can really use some help. They have seen these churches go from nothing to over 800 in regular attendance - an amazing accomplishment. I pray we can be of assistance.
