There are different mantras of different Gods, like Maha Mrityunjaya mantra of Lord Shiva, some praises (stotra) and mantras of Lord Dattatreya, mantras of Lord Dhanwantari (who is supposed to be the giver of health and Lord of all medical sciences), mantras and stotras of Lord Sun etc. It depends on what is the ailment you have, that the “sadhana” (spiritual practise) you need to select. But few things are important to understand: You need to get in touch with some knowledgeable person who knows the “shaastra” (spiritual scriptures) deeply. He can advice you rightly what you should practise to get cure of which disease.

You need to have faith and devotion towards the Deity you worship or pray. Otherwise nothing is going to work out. The procedure of following the practise should be correct, failing to which you will not get the expected benefits. Not for all ailments, a knowledgeable person will advice you to worship Gods. For most of the ailments, you should go to a doctor and follow what he says. Only for absolutely incurable or chronic diseases, these “Adi Daivik” (related to Deities) path should be followed.
