God Made The Country, Man Made the Town & Government Made Smart Cities.

Man was made to live in villages Fresh air, greenery, streams and rivers all round. Man made paths which led to roads. Houses for living, cattle to rear, fields for cultivation to eat to live. It was established that without eating man could not live. Road, led people to far of places. People settled down. Activity followed. There was trade and commerce. One could not produce everything for his survival. Men took to different trades for living. Business developed, professions came into existence. Everyone could not pursue a profession. While one took the lead, others followed. Employment began. A class called employees developed who served the promoters. Public eating and staying places called Inns, hotels and motels developed. Tired of the same work each day, men sought diversions. Places for entertainment, public places for drinking came into existence.

Life became full of opportunities, pleasure for those who chose to live in places which came to be referred as towns. Expansion of towns with the influx of population led to the growth of cities. People started enjoying life in cities. Tales traveled to the villages. Man left for villages for cities by passing towns. Cities were not enough, Metropolitans took over. Life in cities and metropolitans means more money and enjoyment. With globalisation man switched cities and metropolitans. There was craving for enjoyment and pleasure.

Life in cities and metropolitans brought excitement, Roads, speed, skyscrappers, hotels, restaurants, airports, theatre, work with diversity all round. Man began enjoying them all. Gradually small towns and villages became distant relatives. Food habits changed, concept of fast food, eating out developed. Families faced fragmentation. Nuclear families came to be the order of the day.

To add to this now the Government intervened. Government announced smart cities. There was all excitement all round.

In this soon creeped in fatigue. Earlier man believed in a single home. Gradually double homes developed. A single person with two homes. Man thought that like two legs two homes would bring in greater pleasure. This is now supported by the Tax Authorities too. There are benefits for two homes.

With all the crack is going on being enlarged. Several means to fill the gap is being done. But what is the position ? Man in cities crave to escape from the drudgery of city and metropolitan life. Money seems to overcome all problems in cities thanks to the development of e-commerce. But the soul remains unfulfilled.

Man is after solace of the mountains, sea side, villages. There is a tendency to escape to remote places. Cities and metropolitan has taken away the soul of man. To find it man is blindly moving. For social prestige vacations are being spent out side the country. It becomes a status symbol to discuss such vacations in gatherings. The tendency to escape remains.

Man wants to escape to villages and even further where he can enjoy the gift of God, nature. Man is after nature as the ultimate. God gifted man with environment, seasons, fauna and flora which man has squandered around. Man has destroyed all. It is realised that man is capable of building cities and metropolitans but they are incapable of creating nature. Man has tried to create nature and environment through parks, sanctuaries but it is incapable of creating environment given by the Al Mighty. After a few centuries more man will pray to the Al Mighty to gift mankind with nature and environment which is set to lose.

Villages are meant to remain villages with its natural gifts. If destroyed further man would head towards being robots.

Pleased to learn that you liked the words jumbled together. It is indeed an encouragement. Thank you so much for caring to read the paras.

It seems that you still have some doubts about man gradually becoming a machine. That element of doubt is, hopefully, the silver lining of one’s being a man. The man with a perceived social status.
