God is the Lifter of Men

You are stressed because you feel the need to be visible to everyone but God. (Read it again)

However, you need to understand that, if God does not want you to be “seen” at a particular season, you won’t be.

Those silent and lonely times on our journeys are part of building our faith, resilience and character for the next level. That is why you always need to be aware of whatever season you are in and act accordingly.

God is the lifter of men.

I was a young journalist, early twenties. I had gone to the US embassy to cover an assignment on climate change and development, and I asked a question during the Q&A session. After the event, the head of the project walked to me and asked if I had interest in the project and would want to study further, I said yes. She asked if I had even been to the US, and I said no. She promised to keep me updated on the project.

Few months later, I get an email asking me to submit my passport and other documents to the embassy. And guess what? I got an all-expense paid trip to the US for a fellowship with the Department of State. This trip gave me the opportunity to connect with amazing leaders many of whom I am still in touch with today.

God is the lifter of men.

Sometimes you don’t really need the validation of hundreds of people. You need that connection with that one person ordained by God, and you are good to go.

Psalm 75:6-7 KJV For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. [7] But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

??I understand how much you really want to get to another level, but you cannot force someone to help you if God does not touch their hearts. This applies to every area of our lives.
