GOD HATES ME

As a child with the building bombed above me, to being sent off alone to be brought up in Australia, led me having to find a way through life on ones own. In continual pursuit for an answer to what life was about, the journey crossed the globe from the Australian military, to running major projects for major donor organisations covering over fifty countries, religions and creeds.

Never adopted, but brought up surrounded by luxury, this quest for an answer led to a bond with this personal god with whom one could converse, attempting to find the answers to the universe. Reading extensively, a guide seemed to come from religion, yet after many of the hundreds of religious texts studied, these still seemed to reflect the need for answers, although Christianity seemed to point in a benevolent direction.

Over the years, traveling the world and experiencing its many cultures, the boy, now man, begged his personal God to reveal the answers to all questions of the universe. God refused, saying the truth would be too much to handle. The debate continued during exposure to horrors around the globe until God gave in with the warning, "Well, just don’t come back and say I didn’t tell you so."

Reaching an eightieth birthday, I discovered being abandoned in a war zone in Ethiopia, where all embassies had moved their staff to neighboring countries, the chances of survival looked slim with the battle raging only seventy kilometers from Addis. This seemed like the time to write out a history of lessons that this personal God had delivered, demonstrating how one no longer needed to debate which god is best to alleviate humans’ greatest fear, that of dying, when we all have this one personal god within us. Then as science has shown how energy cannot be destroyed, that personal God, as demonstrated now with Musk's neuro-link, can always come with us. God, however, must hate me for not revealing this sooner. But then I’d been warned…
