God Doesn't Play Dice, But Maybe He Flips a Coin Instead!
Rush hour on the metro. Bodies pressed together, a symphony of coughs and phone conversations. Cabs are my usual ride, but today, a change of pace landed me on the public stations. Newly sporting my just-purchased chain, I hadn't quite considered the risks of rush hour crowds.
Two frantic metro changes later, I finally reached the local train platform, the cool night air a welcome relief. Patting my neck – a familiar gesture to check my chain – my heart lurched. Empty. Panic surged. Four seconds felt like an eternity as my mind calculated the cost of carelessness.
But wait. A fifth-second flicker of hope. A brush against my shoulder, under my shirt. Relief washed over me as I discovered the culprit – the chain, unclasped by someone trying to steal it, but stubbornly clinging to my small t-shirt. See, I'm a medium-clothes kind of guy. But this particular design, this irresistible design, only came in a tiny size. A fashion faux pas turned lucky charm!

This close call got me thinking. Einstein famously said "God doesn't play dice" with the universe. But maybe, just maybe, the universe flips a coin. Every event, every decision, has an outcome, a probability waiting to be multiplied. Maybe karma is the event, and luck, the coin toss by an unseen hand. And if that coin keeps landing in your favor, well, you might just have a lucky day
