Philippians 3:14 ?I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

When we press on to a goal, we need to look forward. Right before this verse, Paul finishes verse 13 by saying 'forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,'. I love this image of letting the past stay in the rearview mirror, allowing yourself to move forward with focus. But I also love that he says 'straining forward'. God doesn't promise that our callings will be easy. If we follow His call for us, regardless if it is easy or not, we will have a path filled with purpose. Press on to the goals God defines for you and have a blessed day!
