Today's Word:

Have you ever felt like no one truly understands your pain? Have you cried yourself to sleep, wondering if anyone cares? Life can be tough, and sometimes, we face situations that break our hearts. It may be the loss of a loved one, betrayal from a close friend, financial struggles, or a prolonged season of uncertainty. In those moments, we might feel unseen and unheard. But today, take comfort in this truth: God sees your pain. He collects your tears. He records every sorrow.

The psalmist reminds us that God does not overlook a single tear. He treasures them as a sign of His deep love and care. He is not indifferent to our pain but intimately involved in our healing process. No struggle you face goes unnoticed by Him. He is the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). When we cry out to Him, He listens and responds with compassion.

Sarah had been battling depression for years. She felt alone in her struggles, thinking that no one truly understood her pain. She would cry at night, feeling empty and hopeless. But one day, she came across Psalm 56:8, and it changed her perspective. She realized that God had been with her all along, collecting every tear she had shed. Instead of hiding her pain, she started bringing it to God in prayer. Over time, she experienced His healing touch, and her heart was restored. Today, she shares her testimony with others, encouraging them that God sees and cares for them too.

The story of Hagar in the wilderness is a powerful example of God seeing and caring for our tears. Hagar, Sarah’s maidservant, was cast out into the desert with her son, Ishmael, with no water and nowhere to turn. In desperation, she cried out, unable to watch her son die. But God heard the cries of the boy and sent an angel to comfort her. He opened her eyes to see a well of water, providing for her needs (Genesis 21:14-19). Just like He did for Hagar, God sees us in our lowest moments and makes a way where there seems to be none.

Father, thank You for Your deep love and care for me. Thank You for collecting every tear I have shed and for knowing every sorrow I have faced. I surrender my pain, my worries, and my struggles to You today. Heal my heart, restore my joy, and help me trust that You will make all things right in Your time. Fill me with Your peace and remind me that I am never alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
