God Breaks Through

God Breaks Through

God breaks through at the most miraculous times! It was a morning, like every other quarantine morning. I was exercising and watching a video. All of a sudden, the video stopped, and a song about God started! Where did it come from? How did it start? Why did it start?

I tried to turn it off so I could watch the video, but I couldn’t! God wanted me to listen! It was one of my favorite songs—“Awesome God” by Chris Tomlin. I smiled and focused my attention where it’s best focused—on my loving higher power.

After the song ended, I saw that I had it on iTunes, but that didn’t diminish the gift. What was its message, though? To assure me that God is here, that all is and will be well? Perhaps.

The quarantine has been stressful, and I’ve wondered why it’s happening. My life was going well; I had good substitute teaching jobs lined up, and then the virus hit, the schools closed, and I applied for unemployment. I don’t know when the schools will reopen, so I apply for other work and gratefully receive the unemployment benefits and stimulus money from the government.

Lest I start to worry, though, God breaks through. This morning when I checked my email, workers compensation notified me of an upcoming deposit. The injury was over four years ago, and although I got money in the past, God broke through when it restarted when the schools closed. I’ll receive it a few more weeks as God continues to remind me that prosperity exists at all times.

Then, God broke through with a gift from nature. When I listened to “Awesome God,” a squirrel ran up a tree outside my window and brought me another smile. I rarely saw squirrels on that tree before quarantine, and now that I am home, I see more of God’s delightful creatures.

God broke through again with sending me more videos from life transformation coaches than I had requested. Each coach spoke on some aspect of how to live more powerfully and authentically. On summit day one, I received four videos, three more came the next day, and three the next. Thus, I received 10 instead of one. Plus, they were all free! God’s love was raining prosperity and healing!

I’m grateful to God for his breakthroughs. Sometimes it’s through pain, like the broken knee I got last October. The break brought me deeper healing, though, and a better life. God’s breakthroughs always lead me to the highest good for myself and others.

When and where will God break through next? As long as I stay spiritually awake, I’ll see it, receive it, and thank God for it. My part is to stay open to the breakthroughs, follow their wisdom, and share them so that more people are reminded that God’s love and power exist at ALL times, in ALL circumstances—even pandemics.

Eventually, the coronavirus crisis will pass. God will break through and lead the world to a better place on an individual and collective level, for God is an awesome God.
