God is Always in Control

God is Always in Control

“The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.” - Proverbs 16:33

What a beautiful reminder that everything is under God’s control!

Even the seemingly random occurrences are under the sovereignty of our God.

There is no such thing as coincidence, there is only God providence.

In our lives, there are countless instances where we may initially fail to see God's hand at work. But later on we can often trace the threads of His providence woven throughout our circumstances.

Think back on your own life experiences. How many times have you faced situations that seemed random or chaotic, only to later recognize the hand of God in them? Perhaps it was a chance encounter that led to a significant opportunity, a closed door that redirected your path for the better, or a mistake that God eventually used to teach you a valuable lesson you would not have learned otherwise.

These moments remind us that God is involved in the details of our lives, working all things together for our good.

If you are struggling to see what God is doing in your life today, pray and ask Him to reveal His purpose. Learn to rest in the assurance that the He who created the heavens and the earth has everything under control.

We can have this attitude, especially when dealing with things beyond our control. By recognizing His sovereignty over the uncontrollable aspects of the world we live in, we find peace knowing that He knows best and will take care of us.

Power of 4 Discussion Question:

Think of a time in your life when you initially saw a situation as mere coincidence but later recognized God's hand at work. How did this realization deepen your trust in God?
