God is Able

Evening Prayer for All – Comprehending the Complete Love of God

Dear Precious Lord Jesus, living in this Post-Christian world that is obviously inebriated by drinking from the broken cisterns and poisoned waters of an Anti-Christian postmodern era has left so many wonderful yet deceived people staggering beneath the weight of bad choices and the fears associated with losing one’s way, and feeling so lost and far from home!

Well friends, whatever is pressing on your minds and hearts tonight, may God fill your minds with divine peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and give you the strength to lay it all down at the foot of the Cross. May all your restless wrestling’s, perpetual worries, and meaningless stress be rendered powerless apart from God’s infinite providence to cause them to work together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Hard times and lonely isolation can be invaluable treasures when they become the catalyst that brings us to the unconditional surrender of our lives and souls. That is the place where we discover, we can trust that He'll take care of whatever concerns us. He knows the best way; his timing is perfect, and in any, and all things, He is able. Christ Jesus is the storm-calmer, the peace-giver, the burden-lifter, the hope-bringer, the yoke breaker, and the sovereign King of the universe. Nothing is too difficult, and no life or situation is ever too insignificant for him.

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” – Ephesians 3:14-21!

 May God bless you all,

.
