Goals
It wasn’t that she aimed so high and missed, it was that she aimed low enough just to hit. A sound goal in mind is what she had been conditioned to think necessary to succeed. Actions are necessary to manifest results of any kind, but we set the bar of life so low that we fail to realize the types of goals we need to set. Goals hold no internal meaning but a false ideology we place on them. Unless our goals reflect our soul, they will hold no charm to our hearts. Our hearts will not beat for them and without a heartbeat there is no pulse, and without a pulse the person is dead and so is the goal. Goals come from the perspective of purpose. No, it was not that she aimed too high or just low enough, it was that her goal was not riddled with flame. A burning desire from within emanating from her being proposing a new idea, a calling so profound that her mind had no limit and zero doubt could be formed. There is no fear, there is no pain and there is no judgment- only certainty of what is and why it is. That is a goal, the reassured confidence that what must be done gets done and no one or nothing can stop her. That is a goal, and that goal is rooted in purpose, birthed from within and the reflection of one’s soul that anything became possible. She aimed higher and she hit harder. In this new-found perception she found her goals and they were a reflection of her being. Her potential became her goals and her goals were infinite.

4 年One thing that has helped me personally is setting my goals high but setting my action steps low. We can often get so engaged in the goal-setting process that we think we need to move mountains on day one. Keep your goals as massive as you can imagine but never forget that every life-changing journey starts with one step. Thanks for sharing Jay!
