Goals are achieved effortless when you set an happy-hour routine

My time, your time, J.K. Rowling’s time, is composed of the same 24 hours. The difference was that she had a mission, and that mission helped her to find the solutions she needed.

I often hear this feedback: “I don’t have time”. In the past, I used this default answer myself. However, this is not the real answer. We all have the same time . What changes are the circumstance in which we live, which make the available time vary from person to person. A single mother struggling with clinical depression and poverty would in theory have less time available and too many worries to start a life project than a person who is single, living in a wealthy family and studying in a good university with the aim of working in a management position at his or her family’s company. Nevertheless, your point of departure does not have to completely determine your destination. Your destination will also depend on your mission and your motivation to rise above your circumstances and seek new opportunities to move closer to your purpose in life. In the case of the woman I described above, her mission was to find liberation from her condition by writing whenever was possible, after her child fell asleep. It was indeed under those conditions that the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was written. My time, your time, J.K. Rowling’s time, is composed of the same 24 hours. The difference was that she had a mission, and that mission helped her to find the solutions she needed.

Therefore, the real answer is not “I don’t have time” but rather “this is not my priority”. Then, why do we point to lack of time as the default answer? Is it because we fear becoming overwhelmed? Because we fear having our comfort levels reduced by replacing a habitual routine with something new? Is it a fear of the unknown? What if this “something new” could change our lives in a positive way?

If you find yourself thinking that you would like to change, to pursue the life goals and lead a life of greater enjoyment and fulfilment, then the question you need to ask yourself is this: are those goals important enough for you to turn them into a priority? If the answer is yes, the rest becomes a question of learning to work with your circumstances and optimize your time, so that you can allocate at least one hour each day to the project that matter most.

The happy hour routine is based on this idea: setting aside ONE “happy hour” every day, which you can use to make progress in your most important life project journey.

I wish You a Fa-Bu-Lux Life?:-)
