A G.o.A.L. Success Story at San Jose State University
Join me in congratulating Shareice Owens on getting her career started at a major company.
Shareice was the first student to be part of G.o.A.L. (Generation of Aspirational Leaders) in Spring 2016 when it was just getting started. At that time, G.o.A.L. was only an idea, a concept, and a thought about finding solutions to assist students in achieving success in their classes.
To this day, Shareice has never missed a monthly meeting or an opportunity to serve in developing G.o.A.L.. When there was only a handful of students that expressed an interest in G.o.A.L. (but not fully committed to being involved in a startup program), Shareice expressed that she had faith that someday G.o.A.L. would be a channel to help students achieve success. She also believed that her participation in G.o.A.L., coupled with her hard work and dedication in achieving in her education would someday pay off.
Shareice credits her Mother, family, and G.o.A.L. Partners: EOP, Braven, and the Career Center for making a significant difference in her life and contributing to her success.
On behalf of G.o.A.L. Ambassador's (Eli Lopez, Alora Frederick, Yareli Hernandez, Benjamin Fourmann, Jordan Stewart, Sarah Sackrison, Sarah Lum, Shemone Buval) Partners, and friends, we salute Shareice Owens for netting her dream job!
Congratulations Shareice!
