2024 is shifting into full gear. I’m looking at the roadmap and it’s power packed.
Last weekend kicked off Award Season with The Golden Globes, honoring the best and brightest of 2023 across film & TV. This week focuses on the future, with CES and all of the trends in consumer electronics. And then we roll into Sundance, where Alex will be positioned.
From there it’s The Clio Music Awards, The Grammys, and all that’s sandwiched in between. I’ll definitely see you in LA, friends!
February 2nd, Vision Pro hits shelves, which should signal a monumental shift in AR/VR and the Metaverse.
Then it’s off to the Super Bowl in Vegas, Valentines Day, NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, and your pick of Eth Denver or Eth Paris (or both if you’ve got that dog in you especially when things are looking up again for Eth.)
March kicks off Frieze Art Fair in LA, the Oscars, and SXSW in Austin. The Spring wraps up with Wrestelmania and, of course, the Hip Hop & Wrestling event of the season, Walemania in Philadelphia. Tickets are still available.
That’s the roadmap of tentpole events for Q1. Q2 kicks off festival season at Coachella later in April and a host of things to think about for the back half of the year.
I should make a quarter of these events, or maybe a third depending on our projects, family, friend commitments and putting out the customary fires. It’s go time, let’s get it!
