I grew up in a town with Tiger paws on the highway. I saw Tigers everywhere I went. I guess it is no surprise that I love to see the cat. It makes me feel safe and youthful! We all have childhood memories that affect our everyday lives. My father had a 1959 Ford Galaxy that I became very attached to as a toddler. I cried the day that he sold it to a man named Johnny Vassey for $200.00 so he could pay for my tonsils to be removed. That day has always stayed with me even though at the time I did not know why he sold the car. I just knew that I was very angry with him for doing it! It was a black 2 door with fender skirts. I still love to see one of those cars. Don't discount your child's attachment to you car when you trade. It is good to involve them in your process when you buy cars too. My granddaughter has given my priceless information since she was a toddler. She has opinions about cup holders and door handles and seatbelts etc.. Kids can make or break a car sale. As a salesperson, I always try to pay attention to the children. (And sometimes, they run the house, you know.) This is just my thought for the day. I guess I am feeling a little nostalgic sitting here working from home on this nasty day!
