Go "All In" On Success

Go "All In" On Success

Show me someone who is underperforming, and I’ll show you someone who has a problem with commitment.?

You might be thinking, “Wait a minute, Grant. I show up every day. I call people back when I say I will. I do what I say I’m going to do. What do you mean, I’ve got a problem with commitment?”?

Well, just look at your results. If you are operating at a level below your potential, you are not fully committed.?

Whenever I commit myself to a course of action, I get immediate results. When my commitment is lacking, results are delayed or nonexistent.?

Commitment means devoting yourself completely to something. It means leaving no room for “maybes.” If you set extraordinary goals, you must have extraordinary commitment. You must go “All In” on success.?

When I commit to something, I continue to pursue it regardless of what obstacles or roadblocks I may face. One hundred percent commitment means you get 100 percent behind whatever it is you are committing to. You commit before you’ve worked out all of the details. You stick with it, and you work it out because you are committed to it.?

Creativity Follows Commitment

In business, you need to create massive levels of commitment, then change your thinking and your action to follow through. Yes, it will be hard at times. Yes, it will be uncomfortable. Yes, you’ll need to think and do things you’ve never thought or done before. But I guarantee you, creativity follows commitment.?

If you’re struggling with ideas, commit. Once you commit, creativity will follow. Once you put yourself on the line, you’ll come up with ideas to make it happen. You need to put yourself in a position where you have no choice.?

This is the same level of commitment I made when I agreed to go on Undercover Billionaire. If you’re not familiar with the show, I had to go “All In” and commit to generating one million dollars in 90 days. I had no contacts, no money, no name… and no hair. I couldn’t treat it as a game where, if it didn’t work out, I’d just shrug my shoulders and go back home and brush it all off.?

Anything less than one hundred percent commitment was out of the question.?

If I couldn’t pull it off, not only would it be a personal blow, it would also tarnish my brand. It would hurt my family, my employees, and my clients. I could not and would not let that happen. That 100 percent commitment carried me through some of the toughest times in my life on that show. I seriously considered quitting, but I couldn’t because I had committed.?

Business isn’t always pretty. It can chew you up and spit you out. You face rejection, attacks, and worse. How do you overcome that? Commitment. One hundred percent commitment is required to achieve at extraordinary levels in business or any area of life.?

Here’s how to put it to work for you...?

Assume Control For Everything

Our country has a popular narrative right now that no one is responsible for anything. Too many people think, “I’m a victim.”?

Any negative personality flaw is a result of poor parenting. Any underperformance is the result of the deck being stacked against you. Any failure is a result of a poor economy, a global pandemic, bad internet, or the pizza you ate for lunch.?

Some of this may be true. There are a lot of people dealing with a lot of “unfair” stuff. But let me ask you this. Does blaming someone else make you more likely to improve your situation?

We see the results of this victim mentality with millions of people simply opting out of the workforce and taking a government check. If you’re happy with being average, then do that. But if you are striving for something more, you need to change your thinking.?

People who succeed typically take massive action. It’s impossible to take massive action if you don’t take responsibility. Why would you throw yourself into your work if you think your actions have absolutely no impact on your outcome? The more you are willing to take responsibility, the more action you will take. That’s why you must assume responsibility for everything. Yes, everything.?

Lost the account because your customer support team dropped the ball? Your responsibility. You could have followed up with support and called the customer. Your appointment was canceled at the last minute and now your day is shot? Your responsibility. You could have booked several other appointments so if one fell through, you’re still hustling.?

When you are willing to assume control, you will naturally increase your ability and willingness to find solutions. You will create more success for yourself. But it all starts with choosing to believe that you are responsible for everything that happens in your life.

This will take a while to master. When something unpleasant occurs, ask yourself, “What can I do to reduce the likelihood that this will happen again?”?

This one question will shift you from a “Victim Mindset” to a “Success Mindset.”?

Overcommit And Overdeliver

I bet you’ve had someone tell you, “Underpromise and overdeliver” so you can delight your customers. Forget it.

While some people think it’s smart to underpromise, it’s not. Underpromising never gives you the opportunity to deliver at all because you won’t win the client. If you are promising less than outstanding results, you won’t have any customers!?

Who wants to put their credit card down or buy something that’s not guaranteed to deliver extraordinary results? Your prospects want solutions that will dramatically change their lives. Deliver it to them.?

Everything you’ve ever accomplished started with a “first time.” You have to commit to figuring it out as you go along.?

When I started my first business selling sales training, I was still operating in the realm of “average.” Even though I had a great product at a great price and was hustling day in and day out, something wasn’t clicking.?

Then I realized, it was my commitment. I was promising average results. I was promising “more sales.” But no one wanted to hear it. Not only was it not specific enough, but it also wasn’t anything different from what every other sales training company was promising.?

So one day, I tried something new. I told a prospect, “Give me 30 minutes with your team. In return, I guarantee you’ll get one extra sale for every two salespeople in the next three hours.” While we didn’t quite meet that goal, the team had its best day in months, and it was enough to get me the deal.

It was this discovery in the early years that raised my performance to entirely new levels.? I started to get people’s attention. I got the meeting, I made the promise, and then I was obligated to deliver.?

Look, I never make promises that I don’t believe in. Become obsessed with being the best. And then when you overpromise, you’re only telling the truth.?

You can see this principle in action on Undercover Billionaire. I committed to the owner of a mattress store that if he gave me $5K for promo materials, I’d bring in $15K in sales in a single day. No spoilers. You’ll have to watch the show to see what happened. But I will tell you that the promise was enough to get him to take a chance on me.?

When you overpromise, you are making a commitment. And that commitment requires you to rise to the occasion and overdeliver. Yes, this is risky and scary. It requires you to get beyond “average” levels of action, but that’s where the magic happens.?

When you over-promise, you are forced to operate at an entirely new level. Overpromising allows you to promise and deliver exceptional quality and service.?

Make a decision to go “All In” on success.?

And if you are serious about success, I have something for you.?

For the past 30 years, I've been making money with my first business and putting it into my second business real estate.

If you're anything like me, the hardest part was making the money. The second hardest part was knowing where to invest it now that I have some.? When I looked around my only options were stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. And I hated all three of them.

That's why I started investing in income-producing properties. Today I control thousands of units around the United States. These investments have produced positive cash flow every single month.

Look, I believe the current economy has created the greatest real estate opportunity of my lifetime. And I’m going to do everything I can to take advantage of it.?

If you’d like to see what I’m doing to take advantage of this opportunity, I have something for you. I’m doing a free training where I share everything I’m doing in real estate right now. ?

I’ll show you where to find great deals…

How to know what to pay for a deal…

And how to get funding, even if you have no credit.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how I create generational wealth with real estate, this is for you.?
