Go all in.

As I look back on my career (no, I'm not retiring), I can’t help but think of all the people who have helped me along my path. Countless people from little league coaches to fellow warehousemen to art directors and writers on the cusp of retirement. I call these people the messengers of my journey. And even though these messengers were much older than me, I coveted their advice and their wisdom knowing that we all learn from each other if we’re willing to do so. I knew and hoped that one one day, I would be in a position to pass along my own wisdom to others. Well, my advice to any young person thinking about getting into our business is pretty simple: First, identify who you are and what makes you happy. And second, give 100% of everything you have and never give up. Surrender the outcome, surrender the fear, and just know that if you give it your all in every conversation, every movement, every intention, the rest will follow. Because if you are only willing to give 80% you can’t expect to get anything more in return.
