1- The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) of Serbia, within its prescribed competencies and deadlines, adopted the following rulebooks, that entered into force on November 15, 2024:
a-Rulebook on the security and integrity of electronic communication networks and services and terminal equipment?("Official Gazette of RS", No. 88/24 of November 7, 2024),?to be applied as of December 1, 2025, stipulating the implementation of the appropriate technical and organizational measures corresponding to the exisitng risks, in particular measures for prevention and alleviation of the impact of security incidents on users and interconnected networks, measures to enable the continuity of the operation of public communication networks and services, protective measures to prevent the unauthorized use of terminal equipment enabling Internet access, procedure of alerting users in case of a particular risk of security or integrity breach of public communication networks and services and procedure of informing the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services about every security or integrity breach of public communication networks and services significantly impacting the operation of a business entity.
b- Rulebook on the requirements for allocation and use of radio frequency spectrum under general authorization regime?("Official Gazette of RS", No. 88/24 of November 7, 2024),?stipulating the requirements for the allocation and use of RF spectrum under general authorization regime, as well as making records of specific types of radio stations operating in RF bands being used under general authorization regime.

1- The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Egypt (NTRA) launched the eSIM technology in Egypt’s market, following the completion of all necessary technical tests by the four mobile operators to operate the service.
?NTRA also contracted with Cyshield Company to establish and operate the data center for the integrated chips,This technology is one of the latest digital innovations in telecom field, aiming to improve the user experience in Egypt
?In this sense, NTRA made sure to clarify the eSIM service details by issuing a comprehensive guide for the use of eSIM in Egypt.

1- Brazil/Public Consultation with draft 700 MHz Notice is approved by Anatel's Board of Directors.
The Public Consultation of the proposed Bidding Notice for the 708 MHz to 718 MHz and 763 MHz to 773 MHz bands was approved by Anatel's Board of Directors to receive contributions from society in an online meeting held this Thursday (12/5). If the proposal is maintained in draft, the bidding should enable the expansion of mobile service coverage with special attention to underserved locations and regions considered strategic.

1- The Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) of Indonesia has opened a Public Consultation of RPM on Amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 2 of 2023 concerning the Use of Radio Frequency Spectrum Based on Class Permits.
This draft Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Digital will regulate the provisions for the use of radio frequency spectrum based on class permits with substances related to:
a. Addition of radio frequency bands:
- 5925-6425 MHz for the use of telecommunications equipment/devices Radio Local Area Network (RLAN) with the latest IEEE 802.11 technology standards; and
- 315-405 KHz and 1700-1800 kHz for the use of telecommunications equipment/devices Short Range Device (SRD), especially for Wireless Power Transmission (WPT).
b. Technical provisions for the operation of telecommunications equipment and/or telecommunications devices RLAN and SRD especially WPT that work on the frequency bands 315-405 KHz, 1700-1800 kHz, and 5925-6425 MHz.

2- The Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) of Indonesia has opened a Public Consultation of RKM Communication and Digital on Radio Frequency Spectrum Based on Class Permits and Technical Standards for Telecommunication Equipment and/or Telecommunication Devices for Radio Local Area Networks.
The Draft Decree of the Minister of Communication and Digital concerning Radio Frequency Spectrum Based on Class Permits and Technical Standards for Telecommunication Equipment and/or Telecommunication Devices for Radio Local Area Networks, among others, will determine the following:
a- radio frequency spectrum based on class permits for groups of telecommunication equipment and/or telecommunication equipment for radio local area networks, namely:
2400–2483.5 MHz;
5150–5250 MHz;
5250–5350 MHz;
5725–5825 MHz;
5925–6425 MHz; and
57–64 GHz.
b- technical standards for telecommunication equipment and/or telecommunication equipment for radio local area networks:
operating in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio frequency bands;
operating in the 6 GHz radio frequency band; and
operating in the 60 GHz radio frequency band.
